Omega Programs

How Is Omega Different?

  1. Omega tutors send daily email communication reports to parents and the students' teachers at school.
  2. Omega is a "Partner in Education" with most all of the local schools and supports them consistently throughout the school year by sponsoring reading and math programs, teacher lunches, fundraisers, and festivals. Omega is often asked to judge science fairs, spelling bees and writing contests. Omega even sits on the Board of Directors for many of our partnered schools.
  3. Omega tutors have state of the art technology at their fingertips with "e-Tutor" and our proprietary curriculum. At their personal computer, each tutor manages their students' progress and can pull new curriculum immediately or for the next session.
  4. Omega uses a nationally recognized assessment. The Woodcock Johnson III assessment was recommended by valued Principals of our "Partner in Education" schools and is one of the most highly regarded methods of assessment for psychologists and developmental pediatricians.
  5. Omega offers customized teaching. We customize each student's curriculum based on the results of their Woodcock Johnson III initial assessment.
  6. Omega students have the same tutor each week for each part of their program.
  7. Omega hires only certified teachers for all areas of instruction except upper level math and foreign language.
  8. Omega offers a post test of the Woodcock Johnson III assessment to show our parents the results.
  9. Omega treats our students and parents like family.
  10. An Omega representative attends IEP meetings as a parent advocate when needed.
